This is less a blog item and more a celebration of just over twenty-two years of friendship with a couple of my oldest and dearest friends and mentors in the United States! Chic and Tabby Cicero have been there for me – as I have for them – through all the trials and tribulations through which we’ve all been in our chosen Paths over what is nearly a quarter Century!

After spending several relaxing days with them in Florida, I feel relaxed, renewed (to complete my current Saint-Martin translation), and inspired (to face my next examination!).

I love you guys, and am grateful that you came into my life! ♥️

Piers Vaughan

Piers Vaughan was born in Brighton, England, and following sojourns in Germany and Switzerland, lives just outside New York City. He was educated at Brighton College, Oxford and Cranfield Universities, and holds M.A.s in Psychology and Divinity, and an M.B.A. He worked in banking for most of his life, as a Project Manager and Internal Consultant in IT and Operations, later acting as COO of a small training company based in New Jersey. He has been a Freemason most of his life, and is a member of St. John's Lodge No. 1 in New York, which was founded in 1757, and is the guardian of the George Washington Inaugural Bible. He is a 33rd Degree Mason in the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, and a Past Grand High Priest of the Grand Chapter State of New York, Royal Arch Masons, which he currently serves as Grand Treasurer. He is also a long-standing member of a number of esoteric Orders, having helped to bring a number of these to the United States from England and France. He is also Primate of the Apostolic Church of the Golden & Rosy Cross, a descendent of the Pre-Nicene Church of Richard, Duc de Palatine. He has a particular interest in the Orders, Rituals and protagonists of 18th Century French Masonic and Esoteric Orders, and has built a reputation translating many source documents into English, and lecturing around the world on these topics.

    we spoke a long time ago. I recently moved to France and live in Villefranche de Lonchat 246100, between Bergerac and Bordeaux.

    In the UK I was a member of WWW SRIA COLLEGE IN BRIGHTON AND IN THE BRIGHTON LODGE OF HOM, RCM IN HAMPSTEAD, AND EC IN SUTTON as well as MOUP and ORC with MB. I WAS ALSO A MEMBER OF THE GD IN NOTTINGHAM where I met CC & TC a few years ago. I helped set up a GD Temple in Thessaloniki. I am not an Adpet and never will be.

    Needles to say, I was lead to all of the former via various Masonic orders. Despite my contacts, I am finding it difficult to make personal contact with anyone with similar interests that are nearby. Bordeaux is a hour on the train and I am aware of a martinist link that exists there. Everything else is 3 hours away. I wonder therefore if you can recommend anyone nearer to me that I can at least have a chat with. My french is not great, but it improves day by day.
