The Death of Hades Contemplation Pack

This is a quick shout-out for a most unusual project, which I am sure some of you will want to support.

Martin Faulks is the General Manager of Lewis Masonic, one of the most respected Masonic publishing houses and creators of regalia in the world. As if that wouldn’t be a full time occupation for most, he is also a highly respected expert in the art of meditation, having practiced a variety of systems, mastering such diverse approaches from Chinese Taoism, Indian Yoga, the system of the Yamabushi monks of Japan and spending time in the Egyptian deserts, to the Western traditions of Franz Bardon, Hermeticism and Rosicrucianism, studying under a number of masters and spending an extended time in Prague. As well as being a prolific writer on meditation, self-improvement, and Masonry in general, Martin also runs the Seshen Meditation School, based on Hermetic techniques (see https://martinfaulks.co.uk/the-seshen-school-of-hermetic-meditation/).

He also lectures regularly on the subject, and recently gave a wonderful Zoom talk to Lodges in Manhattan on the Art of Memory, from Classical Greek, through Christian to Hermetic currents and ideas.

Now he has used his knowledge to produce a Contemplation Pack based on the legend of Hades and Persephone. A contemporary realization of the Renaissance Token Books, this tool is a powerful aid to self-development through contemplation. Piers Vaughan was born in Brighton, England, and following sojourns in Germany and Switzerland, lives just outside New York City. He was educated at Brighton College, Oxford and Cranfield Universities, and holds M.A.s in Psychology and Divinity, and an M.B.A. He worked in banking for most of his life, as a Project Manager and Internal Consultant in IT and Operations, later acting as COO of a small training company based in New Jersey. He is a 33rd Degree Mason in the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, and a Past Grand High Priest of the Grand Chapter State of New York, Royal Arch Masons, which he currently serves as Grand Treasurer. He is also a long-standing member of a number of esoteric Orders, having helped to bring a number of these to the United States from England and France. He is also Primate of the Apostolic Church of the Golden & Rosy Cross, a descendent of the Pre-Nicene Church of Richard, Duc de Palatine. He has a particular interest in the Orders, Rituals and protagonists of 18th Century French Masonic and Esoteric Orders, and has built a reputation translating many source documents into English, and lecturing around the world on these topics.
